#SpreadJoyNotGerms D.I.Y. Card Kits

Like most during this uncertain, unprecedented time, we wanted to find a way of giving back to our community, so we created our Spread Joy, Not Germs Initiative.

We realized we had tons of excess paper, envelopes and ribbon in our studio, some of which were discontinued scraps and being “paper connoisseurs”, we could not throw them out (ever), so we thought we could somehow donate them to our teacher friends for their kids, since schooling was now being done from home.

We created individual boxes of various papers, envelopes, blank cards, die cut shapes, ribbons and more and dropped them at the doors of our teachers to distribute to their amazing kids. Only thing we asked was that they make at least 1-2 card(s) and send it to a first responder or healthcare worker and the others to be given to anyone that needed cheering, whether it be an elderly neighbor, a friend or a complete stranger. We then officially called them our Happiness Warriors and thanked them for spending their time to help make someone else smile.

Our Happiness Warriors even spread joy back to us by sharing photos of the special cards they made. It has brought the biggest smiles to our faces and have warmed our hearts.

We couldn’t be happier how this project turned out and may have to make it a regular “thing”.

THANK YOU AGAIN TO ALL OUR HAPPINESS WARRIORS, THE TEACHERS & PARENTS FOR BEING AWESOME!
